Our Purpose
Editorial Mission
Malaysian sport is world-class. The journalism covering it should be too.
mmaresolutions.com was founded on a single belief: that the athletes, coaches, and sporting communities of Malaysia deserve rigorous, respectful, and genuinely curious journalism — not filler, not clickbait, and not content manufactured for algorithms.
Since launching in 2020, every article on this site has been reported, verified, and written by someone who has spent decades covering Malaysian and Southeast Asian sport. That standard will not change as the site grows.
What We Cover
We cover the six pillars of Malaysian sporting culture, each with its own editorial calendar and its own community of dedicated readers.
- Mixed Martial Arts — ONE Championship, regional combat sports, fighter profiles and training breakdowns.
- Esports — MLBB, VALORANT, Free Fire, and the professional athletes competing for Malaysia on the world stage.
- Football — Harimau Malaya, the Super League, and the youth development story behind Malaysian football's future.
- Equestrian Sport — Horse racing as sport, horsemanship, equine health, and Malaysia's growing polo and showjumping community.
- Sports Health — The science, medicine, and human stories behind how Malaysian athletes train, recover, and stay well.
- News & Others — Policy, announcements, international hosting bids, and the broader sporting news agenda.
More Than Scores
What distinguishes mmaresolutions.com is its commitment to the athlete's whole story. Anyone can report a result. We want to understand how the Malaysian MMA fighter cut weight in a 34°C gym, how the esports athlete manages eye strain across a 10-hour training block, how the young footballer's diet changed when a new nutritionist arrived at the academy.
Sports health is not a sidebar here. It is the lens through which we read all of sport. We believe the most important story after any performance is the one about how that performance was made possible — and what it cost.
Our Standards
Reported, not generated
Every article is built on primary sources — athletes, coaches, medical professionals, club officials. We do not publish unverified claims.
Transparent corrections
Errors are corrected prominently and without spin. We note what changed and when. Our credibility depends on this.
Editorial independence
mmaresolutions.com has no commercial relationship with sporting organisations we cover. We accept no payment for editorial placement.
Labelled sponsorship
All sponsored or partner content is clearly labelled. Where commercial relationships exist, we disclose them fully. Always.
The Malaysian Angle
We report sport from a Malaysian perspective, for Malaysian readers. Malaysian athletes are our first focus. The Malaysian sporting calendar sets our pace. Malaysian voices — coaches, physiotherapists, sports scientists, fans, historians — are our primary sources.
We write in English to reach the widest possible audience, but the beat is firmly grounded in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak. We believe local sport deserves local journalism — and that local journalism, done right, can compete with any publication in the world.
